How to: Cisco IPSEC vpn on OS 10.6

My 1st solutions was to just use the latest client. vpnclient-darwin-4.9.01.0180-universal-k9
Turns out after some playing around with, the client application is no longer needed. As cisco vpn is now built into os 10.6

1st. Info you will need. (normally found in your pcf file)
Server address, Account Name, Account Password, Group Name, Group Secret, & Cert if applicable.

2nd. Configuring Cisco VPN for OS 10.6:
system preferences > Network > Unlock if needed > Click Add (+).
Interface = VPN
VPN type = Cisco IPsec
server address = your vpn server address
account name = your vpn account name
password = your vpn account password
Click Authentication Settings > Fill out group name & secret as required. (Or cert if applicable)

3rd. Connect and retype your password. You should be good to go. Works for me on my asa 5505. :)
